Abundance(15)-Engine of Life

Dec 07, 2014

Pondering

We have talked about the nature of abundance, both from a natural and a meta-physical approach. These approaches began to show us that we control the engine of life, that the results can be a life filled with abundance or a life filled with disaster, regardless if our life is one of good times, health, and wealth, or a life of lean times, illness, and poverty. Or like most of us, a mishmash of both sides of the coin, usually in a haphazard manner. The outward appearance is only part of the story, as it all depends on how we see life, or the perspective we bring to our life.

But in truth, we control much of the destiny of our life. We are the engines of our lives, bringing our energies to the creative process we work with each moment of our life. In my previous discussions I have shown how we are the author of our life, both from the meta-physical life and from the quantum physical approach to life.

Jesus has said time and again, our life is up to us, that what we have faith in is what occurs, and quantum physics says that our thinking and belief intersect with all the possibilities to produce the next moment, and that our energies that we exhume from our beings effect the result. Additionally, our perspective on each moment creates the next moment in our minds, which always leads to the next moment, which always lead by our perspective and expectations into the next moment.

What I have learned from understanding all these sources is that we are indeed the very engines of our life. What we do and what happens in our life is a combination of the places we find our selves in, the perspective we have on life, and the inner sense of life at the given moment. Our life’s experiences is a product of our beliefs and fundamental understanding of life. What we truly believe in our very beings, our gut feelings, is what occurs in our life.

WE are the engines of our life. What WE believe is true is what is true – but our belief deep in our soul, not a function of our surface thoughts.

Put it this way: I have led a life of abundance because I believe I have led a life of abundance. As I see my life, one great thing has led to the next great thing. Oh yes, there were speed bumps in the road on occasion, but the life has been one glorious run of joy and abundance. Even abundance in the midst of clinical depression, abundance when out of a job, abundance when we were struggling to put children through college (remember seven children?), abundance when our parents or immediate family passed, abundance in everything. We always had what we needed to get through the moment, to end knowing the Peace that Passes All Understanding.

And as we believed it, it was so. Just as Jesus promised. “If you have the faith of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain move from here to there, it will move. Nothing will be impossible to you.” Matt 17:20. Jesus put it well: where is your faith? “Nothing will be impossible to you.”

Nothing will be impossible to you!

And so few of us believe that phrase of Jesus. Such a tantalizing phrase!

A life of Abundance is ours for the taking. We have talked about this from the meta-physical manner, and perhaps even more importantly from the physical view point of quantum physics. Too many believe that our life is totally preordained for us, that Fate controls everything that occurs to us, no matter what we desire or try in life, Fate grabs us by the scruff of the neck and jams us into the next ill-fitting suit or dress and there we are, despite all we try. But not so, not so. We do have the ability to move mountains, as Jesus said.

Most of the time we do not believe we have the ability to move mountains. And so we do not have that ability. Life then occurs as an interplay between all that surrounds us, and is a result of the battles between the strongest of wills, passing thoughts, whims, and Life as it rolls.

But we can truly be the engine of our life. I will make the bold statement:

We are the Engine of our own life.

We design the life we live.

And we can control our life

If we understand the process.

Strong words, but my life illustrates the wonders of the process. Not that I set out to do this in life, but I was given the gift of Faith in childhood, given unconditional love, then the Knowing of God, that has led to this understanding of the workings of Life, or God. God is Life, and all we have is part of the gift of Life. Life, as spoken here, is equivalent to saying God, for God and Life are the same, speaking of God is speaking of Life, and speaking of Life is speaking of God. Nothing that is God is not full of Life, and nothing that is Life is not full of God.

God is always eager, in fact is driven, to give us all we desire as part of Life. Nothing we truly desire is denied. All prayers are answered precisely as we state, but as stated in our hearts. It gets somewhat tricky here, but the results are always perfect and true. This is where the gift of Faith, as stated by Jesus. “If we have the faith if a mustard seed, great things will be done.” “Nothing is impossible”.

Nothing is impossible!

Keep that in mind:”Nothing is impossible “.

Do we believe that ? Do we ever believe that? Nothing is Impossible! Nothing!

But it does take the faith of a mustard seed.

I have stated that we create our life, based on the starting point we have chosen in life. And I have stated that the life we find ourselves in right now is the result of all the various faiths we have held over the years of our life, both good and bad. Sometimes our faith is high, but usually we let our faith drift in the winds of the daily ins and outs of life, not realizing that those “ins and outs” are the very fodder that make our life have possibilities. These “ins and outs” provide the means to move into abundance, just with a switch in mind set. Could this, what ever ‘This’ is, be the start of abundance? Or are we blinded to the possibility of what is there?

Anything we see, anyplace we are, all the circumstances we see, could be the start of Abundance, if we see it as abundance.

You ask, “Can it be that simple? No way, it can’t be that simple. Much more must be involved”.

But it is true. Abundance is ours for the taking, but we have to see that what lies before us is abundance, always abundance, and believe that in our heart.

“if you have the faith of a mustard seed —

Nothing is impossible”.

Meditation

God who surrounds me, infuses me, is my very Being, I look in gratitude at the gift of faith that you have offered each is us. We all have this capability to place ourselves in your Being, to let You flow though us and be present in all that we are, for you have shown us over and over that we are your image and likeness, one with you in all things that are. This discovery gives me awe, opens up the sacred to me, gives us the possibility that heaven on earth is not only possible, but exists within and around us. I sigh in love and gratitude at the vision you have given us in this earth, this universe that gives us glimpses of Your Being.

I bow before your words: “Nothing is impossible.”
